Vivace MNRF is one of our most versatile devices — combining two distinct mechanisms in one treatment to reach concerns that surface-only treatments often can’t.
How the combination works
Fine, gold-plated needles are inserted into the skin at a controlled, precise depth, and radiofrequency energy is delivered directly through those needles into the deeper dermal layer. This combines the micro-injury healing response triggered by the needling itself with the collagen-stimulating effect of the radiofrequency heat — treating deeper structural concerns while generally being gentler on the surface than more aggressive resurfacing methods.
What it’s most often used for
Depressed acne scars — where the skin’s underlying collagen structure was damaged during a breakout — respond well because Vivace works at the depth where that structural gap actually is, not just the visible surface. It’s also commonly used for enlarged pores, since pore size is partly a function of surrounding collagen support weakening over time.
What to expect
A numbing cream is applied before treatment, and mild redness or a sunburn-like sensation for a day or two afterward is normal. Because collagen remodeling is gradual, a course of sessions spaced weeks apart is typically needed to see meaningful improvement, with results continuing to develop for months after the final session.
